The 5F module is the complete head unit, but one of the challenges with the MMI is that the various modules in the car that feed information to it are connected via a fiber optic bus and if one of those modules is acting up it can cause system-wide issues and it's not always clear which module is the culprit.
Mar 8, 2012 · Thanks. I had Nav and the disk but sometimes it was stating. "Nav is not installed" because it could not read the disk. Take the disk out and check for dust and scratches. If it does not help, You can simply copy the disk to another DVD on your computer and try with the copy. You also can get an upgrated copy of the 2010 Nav disk from the ebay

Though I don't subscribe to OnStar, it supposedly allows personal calling. When I run auto scan with Ross-Tech it does NOT identify 77 as an installed module.
