ļ»æKoichi, husband of MC for 3 months, is a ambitious and proud of himself type of person. He seems to be a very cool and dishonest person in the prologue, but I am really looking forward to his story with 17 chapters. I personally hated Koichi. He's very rude and cold-hearted towards you to the point where it borderlines emotional spouse abuse. To top that all off, he's also engaged in a love affair with your boss' wife! He mentions that he was in the affair long before your marriage to him, but he didn't break it off even though he was going to marry you! Yes, he changes a whole 360 degrees when the affair gets exposed and he gets demoted, but in my eyes, I still can't forgive him for doing that. Truth be told, I was cackling at the retribution he got for all the emotional crap your character was put through. For those who only needs a walkthrough (and doesn't want a spoiler) to get a super happy ending on Koichi's Story, here it is. Arranged marriage by both parents, they ended up into marriage after meeting for 3 times (the first time was when they were two years old). MC was attracted by his kindness. Though, Koichiās affair with that woman (Ai) was actually started one year ago before the arranged marriage. Ai was actually the wife of the general manager in Koichiās company. Koichi was not in love with her, it was just that they were compatible with each other. It turned out that Koichi did not understand love and marriage due to his parents, as his mother accepted the fact that his father was keeping an affair with another woman as long as he would bring money back home. Although Koichi indicated his choice to choose MC to be his wife was due to the benefit as MCās father is the executive of a bank, he also said that he thought he could be in love with the girl he was unwilling to let go of at the age of two (his father told him about it). MC asked for a divorce after getting drunk as Ai looked for MC at her workplace and told her how Koichi loved her more than MC in private; though, Koichi did not agree to the divorce as he did not want to do it. MC had decided to attend one last gathering with Koichi as his wife and then she would file the divorce and leave the house. However, it turned out Koichi expressed his thought that he knew nothing about love and that he loved neither that Ai nor MC. Though, he promised to quit seeing Ai if MC insisted. As Ai also attended the gathering, she overheard everything and made a scene of it. Their affair got uncovered by the people at Koichiās company, including the general manager. Koichi then got transferred to a subsidiary company from the main company. He got depressed while MC was busy at her work. Once, Koichi invited both parents for a dinner gathering announcing their divorce without acknowledging MC ahead. MC strongly opposed it. MC indicated that he could get her to agree to the divorce only if he got a hold on himself first so that she would not be worried about him. A few months passed, Koichi was getting used to his new position and started having over-time too. MC also got an award on a project that Koichi had provided idea. At the celebration party, everyone (including Ebihara, Aiba, and Genji) attended the party to congratulate MC for the award. Koichi felt jealous with all the men around MC. Once they got home, Koichi started kissing MC. As both of them agreed to go on, Koichiās phone rang and it was the news about his father going into a hospital due to a heart attack. It was because of this incident that MC got to know about the affair of Koichiās father with another woman. As Koichiās father went into the hospital due to a heart attack, Koichiās mother tried to convince Koichi and MC to quit their jobs so that Koichi could take over his fatherās company as the CEO and MC would be assisting him. Koichi refused it and also asked if MC would stay with him if he got disown by his parents. Koichiās father actually did not mind Koichi to choose his own way, and so MC wanted to convince his mother to accept his choice. Although she got refused by his mother, MC got to know his mother was a good school teacher before marrying to his father (in other words, his mother gave up her dream job just for her marriage). In private, Koichiās father suggested the best way to make his mother to accept it is by having grandchild sooner. On the way to home from hospital, Koichi expressed his wish to be with MC for the night. The other night after having over-time at work, MC shared a taxi with Aiba as he was living nearby. They met Koichi who was also off work from his over-time. Koichi show his jealousy and started his forcefully kiss in elevator. The next day Koichi took MC to one of his fatherās property that was far from the city. Koichi wanted to share the starry night scene with MC as he had forgotten about it before meeting MC. MC was then the first one he shared this starry night with. Back to the logging, Koichi proposed to MC again, they made the vows for the second time, exchanged rings, and had their āfirst nightā as a newlywed there. MC and Koichi were both having a lot of overtime and they seldom have dinner together. Though, Koichi invited MC to go to Korea with him as a private trip with the couples they has known when he was at his previous position. MC was very happy to go to a trip with him. The trip went happily until they met Aiās husband (Koichiās previous boss). Koichi decided to leave Korea earlier than as planned as Aiās husband asked him to leave and Aiās husband would take care of that couples. However, MC asked him to visit Korea on their own as they donāt really have time alone together. They have a wonderful time visiting around. MC also once again expresses that she would not leave Koichi no matter what. The photo of Koichi naked was so completely unnecessary to this story. When your hubby has visibly and admittedly cheated on you before there is no need to give some kind of proof especially if the proof of fabricated. It turns out at the end of the story to have a regular shoujo excuse. The girl claiming to have an affair with him only needed some obscure detail about him to make the MC rightfully insecure and the picture just made Koichi seem lacking to have fallen into a dumb trap the way he did. He's still cold and calculating, and he readily admits to the MC that he thinks of marriage in terms of what he can get out of it. The difference is she finds this out before they get engaged. I FINALLY GOT HIS GOOD ENDDING!!! Yesssssss!*fist pumps in air* woot woot! Well I was quite surprised by Ginnosuke, I didnāt think I was gonna like the old man but turns out he might be my favorite IYAT guy (heās duking it out with Kippie for that title as we speak). Oh man the feels in this route, THE FEELS!ā¦ theyāre pretty intense. I think my heart was in my stomach the whole time (and times that by 2 seeing as I had to replay his route). Ginnosuke is quite the flirt, you constantly see him with women throughout his route, yet when he seeās you he is really good at making you feel like your the only one. Normally I hate this type of guy, but (and I am embarrassed to admit this) I was a sucker to his moves. I canāt tell you how happy I was when he tells you he cut off all his other women for you. YAY!ā¦ā¦only to get my heart ripped out of my chest and stomped on in the next chapter!If your up and down relationship with Ginnosuke wasnāt enough heart ache for you, thereās Koichi. At the beginning I really hated him, like I did in all of the other guyās routes, but once he get demoted my heart really felt for him and I was so torn between the two! From the beginning I pretty much loved Ginnosuke because he really listens to MC and is there for her whenever she needs him (and what girl wouldnāt kill for that!), but when Koichi starts being nice to you and begs you to give him another try I justā¦ I felt kind of bad for Ginnosuke cause it kind of seemed like the MC was toying with his emotions, but I would have had a really hard time picking between the can we talk about how crazy Ai is in this route! I mean she drugs you and tries to get youā¦THIS BITCH BE CRAZY!!! Iām not one for men showing any kind of violence towards women, but I was kind of happy that Ginnosuke slapped the MC after all that. I mean how dumb is the MC, obviously Ai had ulterior motivesā¦ and he even warned her!!! so definitely think Ginnosukeās route was definitely worth the wait, itās probably one of the best routes for IYAT if not the bestā¦ I just wished he had more CGās! Letās get this.(I saved this picture in my laptop as ā Spoiler alert to how I feel about this special, special character.)The MC of this story is a 31 year old interior designer, uh, wannabe interior designer. I guess. You are pressured by your parents that it's about time to be settling down with a husband and start a family. So, to appease them, you go on an arranged date with a businessman. By the name of Koichi Natsukawa. He seems like a nice enough guy at first. He buys you new shoes when the heel snaps on yourās, he tries his best with kids, he has a stable job. Though he doesnāt open up to you much, Koichi treats you as a gentleman would. And, in a few short months, the two of you get hitched.(Only Eli oppa can express the MCās feelings towards designing of the interior.)Alright, Iāll give a hand to this MC, she is significantly better than other MCs that Iāve played. In this route, she is patient (like woah, is she understanding!), hardworking (wanting to keep her job, even though her mother-in-law pesters her like a fly to quit.), and is pretty like most MCs, she is unsure of herself and a bit too kind for her own good. And, was it me, or did anyone else think she was kind of loose? She sleeps with Koichi in chapter 15, I think, maybe earlier? I remember feeling like they had a lot more to discuss about their relationship and their feelings before they started anything physical.(Who knows? When youāre ready, youāre ready. Koichi is a pervert too.)Koichiās job keeps him busy. Like, him stepping out on your wedding night, because of hisā¦ job. Him coming home late, because of hisā¦ job. Sleeping in separate rooms, because of hisā¦ job. Not wearing his wedding ring, because of hisā¦ job?Eventually, to your not surprise, you find out that Koichi has another woman!(The lovely girl in the flesh, Ai. She tots bitch slaps you later in the story. Also, Ai happens to be the wife of his boss. Very clever, Koichi. Oh, wait!)You confront your dear hubby about his misdeeds. And his reasoningā¦My reaction can only be summed up in two short you want to try and salvage the marriage you have, so you attempt to get Koichi to leave his mistress and live a happy life with you. This is where my respect really shows for the MC. While she has at least two men wooing her at all times in the story, she never once thinks about cheating on Koichi in retaliation. She stays calm and collected, only losing her cool once. The MC makes an effort to forgive and forget her slimy husbandās sins. I think itās sweet. Look at what she says after she accidentally hits Koichi with a rock because she thought he was a bear. I would do the same thing if I was lost in the woods, but if the rock I threw just happened to hit my cheating husband in the face, you know, I would just call it a when Koichi tries to take her handā¦You guys wanna know what she is like?Man, it was be honest here, Koichi ruined me. I took his two-timing so personally. I found myself wondering if it was something I did or said, is it the way I look, what does that slut Ai have that I donāt? He really broke my heart. That is probably why, when he asks for your support and love, close to the end I was like,I mean, Iām happy he didnāt lead you on, or try to sleep with you when you were in the dark about the adultery thing, but, what can you expect when you made me go from this,To this,The ENTIRE I would recommend Koichiās story. Only for the changes in him that happen throughout the story. At first, Koichi is cold and detached from you, giving absolutely no Fās if you know about Ai and him, and tells you, to your face, that he does not, and will not, love you, only viewing your marriage as a transaction. A give and take. A trade. A bargain. Slowly and slowly, his life comes crumbling down. His company finds out about the affair, he gets demoted, his father has a heart attack, his mother forces him to quit his job. The calculating man that you once knew now looks like a pathetic puppy, beaten down by life. And that makes me feel slightly better.(I swear, whenever I eat kale I turn into such a bitch.)- Farmer Abby

[Review] In Your Arms Tonight: Koichi Natsukawa - Main Story So I decided to give the cheating husband a try! The beginning still feels like shit though. But Kyoichi is much better in his own route, compared to Kippei, haha. How Kyoichi is brought up by his parents shapes what values he has today. Probably because of that, he has never loved anyone before. His affair was just of lust. I thought his mom seemed like a rather cold woman. Though I changed my view about her in the sequel, haha. Ai was annoying. I don't think anyone should ever have to experience being cheated on. It's horrible. No one will be happy and everything will break apart. I sympathasize Ai to a certain extent. She really loved Koichi. Which makes me wonder why didn't she love her own husband? Koichi's career came to a standstill and he was transferred because of the scandal. MC is super awesome. She showed and taught Koichi love. Koichi doesn't know what love is, and everything was transactional or an exchange of benefits to him. So, the MC being there for him regardless of his career/status/money kind of shocked him in a good way. I think the best character has to be the MC in this route. Haha. I'd have just handed him the divorce documents and be on my way already, lol. This route isn't as bad as I thought it would be!
