Chciałbym zaktualizować android do Próbowałem przez Sony Pc Companoin pokazuje że mam najnowsze oprogramowanie to samo miałem przez kliknięcie w Update Center na moim telefonie. Sprawdzałem kiedy wyjdzie android do mojego Soniaka i znalazłem datę maj/kwiecień 2012 , a aktualizacji jak nie było tak nie ma. W jaki inny sposób mogę zaktualizować android i czy to mi się opłaca na moim telefonie. Czy nie będzie żadnych lagów lub zawieszeń? Proszę o pomoc. Nie wiem, jaka aplikacja systemowa tak go utrzymuje w ruchu. Na android pracowałem identycznie. Trochę widok, transmisja danych włączona ciągle, jakieś maile, czasami sms, tel, nawet czytałem epuby, lokalizacja włączona, etc. I było git, 3 dni spokojnie trzymał. Teraz na android jest masakra. 1 dzień i to tak bez szaleństw. Ok 50% zużycia baterii ppochłania system. I nie wiem co dokladnie. Długi czas aktywności pokazuje w czymś takim jak partial wakelock. Telefon wiesza się, muli strasznie, potrafi sie nagle zresetować, czasem gdy chcę go wyłączyć to skutecznie się zawiesi i tylko wyjęcie baterii doprowadza go do stanu używalności. Wcześniejsze posty że działa lepiej są niedorzeczne, w podstawowej wersji działał dużo szybciej, zero mulenia i nigdy mi się nie zawiesił, po pierwszej aktualizacji, zaczęły się problemy ale po drugiej do wersji to już jest masakra. Zastanawiam się czy oddać fona na gwarancji do serwisu czy próbować coś z nim zrobić innego. Aplikacja, która mi stale wybudzała tel to MailDroid (przynajmniej tą znalazłem). Ograniczyłem nieco cykliczność łączenia z serwerem i się poprawiło. Ale i tak żałuję, jak nie wiem, że zaktualizowałem na tym telefonie system. Na nawigacji często mi się zawiesza i nie pomaga nic, oprócz wyjęcia baterii. Jest wolny i muli.

Following Monday's Live with Walkman, Sony Ericsson has revealed its second awkwardly named phone of the week, the Xperia Neo V. The Neo V -- as in the Roman numeral for 5 -- is intended as a replacement for the Xperia Neo from earlier this year. Sony Ericsson also promised new software for all of its Xperia phones released in 2011. That's the Xperia Play, Arc, Neo, Pro, Mini, Mini Pro, Active and Ray. These lucky phones will be getting an update to Android which will be preinstalled on the new Neo V. The major changes include a new '3D sweep panorama' mode, a version of Google Talk with video chat enabled, and T9 Trace, a keyboard similar to Swype. Not such good news if you have an X10, X10 Mini or X10 Mini Pro, or the X8 -- the X10 was updated to recently but won't go any further, and the rest are stuck on even staler versions of might assume that the Neo V has been improved from the original Neo. While the two phones look virtually identical, however, the only thing that separates them, aside from a change of colour, is the camera. Sadly, it's been downgraded rather than improved, making the new Neo V more of a PSP E-1000 than an iPhone 3GS. When we reviewed the original Xperia Neo, one of the things that impressed us most was its 8-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, which produced stunning images even in low light conditions. In the Neo V, this has been replaced with a 5-megapixel unit, probably the same one found in other Sony Ericsson phones such as the Mini. So, we can expect image quality and low light performance to drop, though it will still support 720p HD video. This may seem a strange move by Sony Ericsson, but its hand might have been forced. GSMArena suggests the Japanese earthquakes earlier this year have caused difficulties in the manufacturing of the 8-megapixel sensor and its saving its limited stock for the flagship Xperia Arc. Nothing has been said, however, about when this update will be available. Likewise, there was no mention of a release date or pricing for the new Xperia Neo V, though we can assume that, with a downgraded camera, it will be priced less than the original you think the Neo V is a smart move by Sony Ericsson? Sony Ericsson was the first OEM to officially announce the Ice Cream Sandwich update for their current line up of smartphones and now they've revealed a roadmap of when to expect the said update. We have been getting emails all weekend asking for a tutorial on how to install the official Android Ice Cream Sandwich update to the Xperia arc. We therefore thought we’d knock up a quick guide to take you through the process. As a quick recap, Sony Mobile announced the rollout of the ICS Xperia update on Friday 13 April, but only for three of the 2011 Xperia range (Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray). The original Xperia arc is not due to be updated until late May 2012. Fear not though as given the similarities between the Xperia arc and Xperia arc S, arc users can install the ICS update to their handset right now. The guide below takes you through what you need to do step-by-step. Installing the official Android ICS update to your Xperia arc Disclaimer: You should note that once you complete the process, your phone will be recognised as the Xperia arc S (LT18i). Android ICS will work as advertised, but you may encounter certain bugs or issues as the firmware was not designed specifically for the Xperia arc. Xperia Blog absolves itself from any responsibility should something go wrong. Please proceed with caution and at your own risk. Note: This tutorial does not require you to root your handset and it does not require you to unlock your bootloader. 1) Install drivers for the Xperia arc The very first step is to make sure that your PC has all of the necessary drivers installed for the Sony Xperia arc. The best way to do this is to install PC Companion or Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS). Make sure you connect the Xperia arc to the PC before starting the process to download the necessary USB and ADB drivers. If you have any problems you will find the necessary drivers once you have installed Flashtool in the following location: ‘C:\Flashtool\drivers’. 2) Switch on USB debugging on your handset Switch on the debugging option on your Xperia arc. Go to Menu –> Settings –> Applications –> Development –> Tick ‘USB debugging’ Also tick ‘Unknown sources’ under Menu –> Settings –> Applications 3) Install Flashtool You must ensure you install Flashtool version for this process to work. The older versions of Flashtool do not have the command to handle the new ICS partition resizes. As the official Flashtool site is currently not allowing a download of the necessary file, you can download it from our mirror here. The zip package includes two files: 1) Flashtool and 2) an update zip file. a. Install the ‘ application. b. Once complete, unzip the ‘update’ file. Move and replace all contents of the zip file to C:\Flashtool. c. Once you have done this, launch Flashtool. The log window should show that you are using ‘Flashtool Version built on 2012-04-14 11:34:01’. To make sure of this you can always go into Help > About to see what version you are using. 4) Download the Generic Nordic ICS Xperia arc S firmware Download the Generic Nordic ICS Xperia arc S firmware from here (377MB). This is firmware version which will update your phone to Android A note of warning: Some browsers like Opera will rename the extension of this FTF file as a zip file when trying to download it. Make sure that the downloaded file has a .ftf extension rather than .zip. 5) Place firmware in correct location on your PC Place the FTF file in the C:\Flashtool\firmwares folder. 6) Launch Flashtool Open the Flashtool application on your PC. Click on the lightning bolt symbol. Select Flashmode and click OK. 7) Select firmware Select the correct firmware in the left column ( Check the boxes as seen in the picture below (‘Wipe User Data’, ‘Wipe Cache’ and ‘No Final Verification Check’ all need to be ticked). 8 ) Connect Xperia arc to PC Turn your phone off. Press and hold the back key while plugging the USB cable into your Xperia arc. 9) Flashing process will start The flashing process should now start. Once you see the “Flashing finished” message in Flashtool, remove your handset from the PC and wait until the phone reboots (this may take some time so don’t panic). 10) Your Xperia arc should now be running ICS Congratulations, your Sony Xperia arc should now be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich! Pobrałem najnowszego flashtoola, zainstalowałem sterowniki. Problem w tym że gdy wchodzę w flashtoola potem wybieram system i robię wszystkie czynność dochodzi do momentu kiedy flashtool chce abym podłączył telefon do komputera w trybie fastboot i tak też robię zapala się niebieska lampka komputer go wykrywa ale flashtool nie i nie wiem w czym problem.
